We are a group of friends who have performed morris dancing together as 'Rockhopper Morris' for 20 years. We practice in SGCC for a couple of hours on 2 or 3 Sunday evenings per month from September to April, then for the summer we can be seen dancing at festivals around the UK, and at local events, pub evenings etc.
We dance in Cotswold morris style, following a tradition known as Raglan, and dances are performed with sticks or hankies, and to live music played on melodeon, pipe and tabor.
Currently we would like to recruit enthusiastic and energetic people to learn some dances. For photographs and more information, see our website, and if you are interested in joining, you can email us.
